WET-EDGE DESIGN
Unlike traditional pools, where the waterline is approximately 100 millimetres below the coping, wet-edge pools are filled to the brim. The wet-edge design uses a cantilevered reservoir to capture pool water as it overflows and is gravity-fed into a holding tank before being recirculated through the filtration system.
In the pictured project, water tanks are used to harvest rain for automatic water level top up, making this pool as sustainable and as it is inviting.
Wet-edge pool design also includes infinity edge pools. An infinity edge creates the illusion of water extending endlessly to the horizon, seamlessly blending the pool with surrounding landscapes, like the ocean, mountains, or cityscape beyond.
