Project summary
Designed by Stuart Osman, this Hope Island home is the epitome of waterside luxury. Clever design has created seamless indoor-outdoor living areas, including sunken seating around an outdoor fire lantern.
Stairs lead up to the pool deck, along with stepped integrated planters. The pool itself has a fully tiled ceramic mosaic interior, mitred porcelain apron coping and, the hero, a 1200 mm high transparent pool window.
In the pump room you will find a Hayward Sand Filter, Hayward TriStar 10 Star Energy Rated Variable Speed Pump, Hayward Salt Chlorinator + pH & ORP Automated Control & Measure, all fully automated for the owner's convenience.
Construction process and gallery
Scroll through photos of the construction process. Extensive structural engineering was needed to accommodate the semi-freestanding structure adjacent to the lower level of house. The project incorporates 18 screw piles, 2.5 tonnes of reinforcing steel and 40 cubic metres of concrete.
